It also calculates the unit cost ofeach talk minute, text or data megabyte which can also help withdetermining best value for money.The App provides some guidance on each factor. Use the buttonnext to each pair of factors to see some help on each one (you canalso enter the factor values on this help screen). This App provides some additional Android internal technicalinformation which can then be emailed. To find the version ofAndroid your device is running you can go into Settings and selectAbout Phone (or sometimes just About). Listed, amongst other items,are the Android Version and Build Number, Device Model and BasebandVersion. This information is taken from an internal Android datastructure called Build (it is an Android Java class calledandroid.os.Build). Internally the Build data also stores some extratechnical information. This information can be useful fordevelopers, repairers, help desks, insurers, forensics and assetlogging. This App shows in a list the values in the propertiesgiven by Build. Each list item starts with Build.X where X is thename of the Build field. The value stored in the field is thenshown in bold. Also shown is the field description from the AndroidDevelopers documentation, the Java type for the field and how it isaccessed in code. Using the Action Bar/Menu options an email of theBuild values for the device is constructed, which can then be sentvia the devices email client. This App is ad supported so itrequires Network permission. It does not collect or send anypersonal or device information. The data collected from the Buildstructure is only used to display the list and create the startingemail. The device operator must initiate the email transmission.
